Saltwood
Full-height glazing on the seaward wall, a 5kW Clearfire log burner, and a wraparound deck that's exactly the width of a camp bed — intended for sunrise coffee and storm-watching in equal measure.
Three hand-built cabins on a working Cornish headland. Larch, slate, a log burner, and the Atlantic fifty metres from your door.
Three cabins, built in 2021 by a joiner from Perranporth and a stonemason from St Just. Each one was sited by eye — where it would catch morning sun, hold the afternoon breeze, and sit below the prevailing south-westerlies, the same logic the old fishermen's cottages used a mile down the coast.
There's no reception desk. No key-card corridor. Larch cladding that's already silvering, slate floors underfoot, a log burner you'll learn to feed. The deck hangs over the cliff edge; the fishing boats come back at dusk. We stock the wood, leave a hamper from Trebell Farm each morning, and stay out of the way.
The headland is waterboard land that hasn't changed in a century. You can walk eight acres without meeting anyone, or take the coast path to Porthcurno in forty minutes. This isn't a place you stumble on — most guests find us by recommendation. We'd like to keep it that way.
Each one sits differently on the headland — Saltwood takes the full Atlantic, Driftline tucks into the leeward slope, Moonshell catches first light. Pick your exposure.
Full-height glazing on the seaward wall, a 5kW Clearfire log burner, and a wraparound deck that's exactly the width of a camp bed — intended for sunrise coffee and storm-watching in equal measure.
A daybed under the picture window, a Morso Squirrel burner, and sheepskin from a farm in Zennor. Set back fifteen metres from the cliff edge — the sheltered one, in any weather Cornwall throws at it.
A wood-fired cedar hot tub on the deck, a roll-top bath inside, and a king bed set directly under a skylight. The deck faces east-north-east — first light comes in at 4.30am in June.
Each cabin is self-catering and fully equipped. No add-ons, no upgrade tiers — the list below is what's waiting when you arrive.
Heated by log fire on every deck, ready for an evening soak under the stars.
Wraparound larch decking on every cabin, positioned for the best of the light.
Proper wood fire, seasoned logs provided, draft-lighters on the counter. The heart of the cabin.
Delivered each morning from Trebell Farm — fresh bread, preserves, eggs, and local honey.
Reliable enough for essentials, slow enough that you'll put the laptop away. As intended.
Eight acres of untouched headland, coastal path walks from the door, skylarks nesting in the gorse.
Driftline and Moonshell welcome well-behaved dogs. Towels, bowls, and a bell-ringing service bell included.
Dedicated space at every cabin, a short walk along the slate path from boot to hearth.
The headland is enough for most guests. But if you do venture out, these are the places we send friends — all within twenty minutes, all bookable through us.
Six miles of cliff-top walking in either direction, from the cabin door. Gorse, granite, and the constant companion of the sea.

"We were three nights in Saltwood and locked the car keys in the boot on purpose. The log burner, the deck, the path down to the beach — that's the whole holiday. We're rebooking for March."
"Driftline, because it's the dog-friendly one and we have a anxious collie. The fire was already laid when we arrived, the hamper had proper sourdough, and the hosts recommended the Lamb & Flag for dinner. We'll be back every autumn."
"Moonshell, for my wife's 40th. The hot tub at 6am with the fog still on the headland — that's the photograph I keep coming back to. Everything else was good. That was the thing."
Check-in is from 3pm, check-out by 10am. We'll send a door code the morning of your arrival, so you can let yourself in whenever suits. Late arrivals are no problem at all — just let us know.
Yes — Driftline and Moonshell welcome up to two well-behaved dogs at £20 per dog per stay. We provide bowls, towels, and a basket bed. Saltwood remains dog-free for guests with allergies.
Each cabin has a dedicated private parking space a short walk along the slate path from the cabin door. EV charging points are available at Saltwood.
Each morning we deliver a hamper from Trebell Farm, a five-minute walk away: fresh sourdough, free-range eggs, farmhouse butter, local preserves, seasonal fruit, Cornish honey, and freshly ground coffee or loose-leaf tea. Dietary requirements are happily accommodated.
Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival for a full refund. Within 14 days, we'll do our best to rebook your dates — if we can, you'll receive a full refund; if not, we'll credit your stay towards a future booking within 12 months. Bank holiday weekends require a non-refundable deposit.
Each cabin has off-grid Wi-Fi that's reliable for email, calls, and browsing — but intentionally not fast enough for streaming or heavy video calls. We think that's a feature, not a bug. Saltwood and Driftline both have small writing desks if you do need to send the occasional message.
Send your dates and we'll come back within a day with availability, a tailored quote, and a door code. The hard part's done — you just need to arrive.
