Three cabins, built in 2021 by a joiner from Perranporth and a stonemason from St Just. Each one was sited by eye — where it would catch morning sun, hold the afternoon breeze, and sit below the prevailing south-westerlies, the same logic the old fishermen's cottages used a mile down the coast.
There's no reception desk. No key-card corridor. Larch cladding that's already silvering, slate floors underfoot, a log burner you'll learn to feed. The deck hangs over the cliff edge; the fishing boats come back at dusk. We stock the wood, leave a hamper from Trebell Farm each morning, and stay out of the way.
The headland is waterboard land that hasn't changed in a century. You can walk eight acres without meeting anyone, or take the coast path to Porthcurno in forty minutes. This isn't a place you stumble on — most guests find us by recommendation. We'd like to keep it that way.
Each one sits differently on the headland — Saltwood takes the full Atlantic, Driftline tucks into the leeward slope, Moonshell catches first light. Pick your exposure.

A wood-fired cedar hot tub on the deck, a roll-top bath inside, and a king bed set directly under a skylight. The deck faces east-north-east — first light comes in at 4.30am in June.

Check-in is from 3pm, check-out by 10am. We'll send a door code the morning of your arrival, so you can let yourself in whenever suits. Late arrivals are no problem at all — just let us know.
Yes — Driftline and Moonshell welcome up to two well-behaved dogs at £20 per dog per stay. We provide bowls, towels, and a basket bed. Saltwood remains dog-free for guests with allergies.
Each cabin has a dedicated private parking space a short walk along the slate path from the cabin door. EV charging points are available at Saltwood.
Each morning we deliver a hamper from Trebell Farm, a five-minute walk away: fresh sourdough, free-range eggs, farmhouse butter, local preserves, seasonal fruit, Cornish honey, and freshly ground coffee or loose-leaf tea. Dietary requirements are happily accommodated.
Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival for a full refund. Within 14 days, we'll do our best to rebook your dates — if we can, you'll receive a full refund; if not, we'll credit your stay towards a future booking within 12 months. Bank holiday weekends require a non-refundable deposit.
Each cabin has off-grid Wi-Fi that's reliable for email, calls, and browsing — but intentionally not fast enough for streaming or heavy video calls. We think that's a feature, not a bug. Saltwood and Driftline both have small writing desks if you do need to send the occasional message.
